Clock Cycle

For Slime Café

The working day cycle of the game has lighting changes as you get to different stages of time. Mechanically, Prep is a time to simply look around the café and familiarise yourself with recipes and such. Opening time is where customers will spawn (although this is disabled in the lighting showcase above). The Afternoon and Closed part of the day is when customers stop spawning, but still linger if already spawned.

The lighting changes are a visual cue that the day is nearing it's end, but there is also a Clock UI to show which stage of time you are in, and when to expect the others.

Prep stops just before Opening time until the player starts the day.

The lighting showcase is sped up for showcase purposes.
