The Great Gatsby - Pool Scene

This Project was a 2nd Year University Submission over 4 months. The brief was to re-create a movie scene and document workflow in a blog.
Engine: Unreal 4
Tools: Maya, Substance Designer.
Throughout doing this project, I improved my skills in modular design as well as beginning to use post-processing features to heighten the overall atmosphere of the scene. I also created a realistic material/shader for the water featured in the scene.

Water Material
The water material is the most complex material in this scene.
It uses refraction panning to create the rippling effects, and refract the centre pool details.
The effect is very simple, but effective.
